Security
At Regency, students safety is our first priority with round-the-clock security at all entry and exit points of the school and within the premises too. The presence of lady helpers on school buses ensures the safety of the students till they reach their homes.
Fire safety
Students safety includes fire safety too. Regency is equipped with fire hose reels and fire extinguishers on every floor for use in case of emergency. The entire staff has been made aware of evacuation procedures in case of an emergency.
Infirmary
The school has a well-equipped infirmary to administer the necessary first aid and also has a tie up with the local doctor to handle minor issues of sickness.
Reception area
There are two reception areas, in the school and college buildings respectively, with able receptionists manning the desks. Intercom facility has also been provided to ensure a streamlined method of communication within the campus.
Canteen on campus
The Regency canteen which provides wholesome and nutritious food at reasonable prices to the students, has been temporarily closed owing to Covid restrictions. There are plans to revive the canteen shortly.
Water
Water coolers and filters at vantage points on every floor ensure that the students have access to safe and clean drinking water.
TRANSPORT
The transport facility is available to the students and staff of Regency.
Bus routes for pick-up and drop are well-planned.- The school buses will pick up students from certain specified points.
- The school takes utmost care to ensure the safety and security of the students in transit.
- The transport staff are hired only after proper background verification of their credentials is done.
- Lady helpers have been appointed in every bus to ensure safety of the students.
- GPS trackers are installed in every bus to enable parents to keep track of their wards on the way home from school.
- All the buses have been fitted with CCTV cameras.
Covid-19 SOPs
Under the school program, all kids in grades 8-12 have been vaccinated. Our biggest priority has always been safety, thus we place a strong value on the protection of our children. We also make certain that the classrooms are disinfected on a regular basis, and we consider the students' responsibility in preventing viral infection. We constantly make sure that the campus is cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
Another critical component of the SOP is the sanitization of school transportation prior to its use, as well as the provision of adequate handwashing facilities on campus. We are also looking toward raising awareness regarding transmission risk factors. To raise awareness, visual alerts are posted at key spots, social distance is practiced, and masks and gloves are worn at regular intervals. Seats are arranged to provide ample space for both children in the classroom and teachers in the staff area. During the pandemic, huge gathering celebrations were avoided.
