Beyond the Classroom

• Overall development happens not just by studying in the classroom, but learning beyond it, which is very crucial. Today's students have more access to information and resources beyond the classroom than any prior generation
• Regency Beyond aims at the holistic development of a child by helping them explore their inner talents and interest. It helps to enhance the skills that will nurture children to bloom in all fields of life and will prepare them to face challenges and experience real-life situations. It focuses on an individual’s ability to manage their time and often focuses on a well-developed soft skill with regard to leadership, self-discipline, community involvement and team playing capabilities
• It aims at energizing students to take care of the Earth and helping their community while learning about some of the most important issues facing the world.

Regency has adapted the ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing) which is a scientifically designed, skill-based test that focuses on how well the skills and concepts of the school curriculum have been learned by the students. An annual evaluation is done in English, Mathematics and Science. In addition, we have also introduced a Detailed Assessment (DA) for grades 3 to 8. This is an online, topic-wise, high quality, formative assessment test, customized to the curriculum of the school, that provides reports and analysis of individual performance to teachers and students within 24 hours of the test.

At Regency, arts and crafts are given due importance as they not only foster the creative development of a child but also assist in refining his or her core skills. Craft forms a part of the curriculum for classes 1 to 7, where students indulge in various activities of craft work where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Socially Useful Productive Work is an integral part of our high school curriculum. It aims to help students to solve the problems in the community through the training acquired in the classroom. It involves vocational activities as also community/ social service, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of our surroundings.
